Limyra (Li-Mee-Ruh) was an ancient Turkish city. It was a jewel in the ancient world,  teeming with fertile soil, a beautiful array of statues and art, and a plethora of philosophy and thought. Limyra was a trading center, which  lead to a variety of cultures and ethnicities to take root in the old city.

The city was prosperous until 9th century raids tore through the region. Scant ruins are all that remain, and the beautiful Greek and Turkish culture has been largely forgotten.

Limyra is a safe haven for young artists and writers to submit work to help shed light on and  preserve beautiful art and story that is so easily forgotten in our day to day lives.
